Abstract:
Improving the composition and quality of bee food is a current issue. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the activity of using biostimulants in bee food. Stimulant feeding of bees was carried out in the spring period with one liter of syrup with biostimulator from the end of March to the end of the first decade of May. It was revealed that the optimal amount of biostimulator to use in bee food during the spring period is 2.5 ml/L sugar syrup + 50% inverted corn syrup with lemon balm/mint infusion. It was evaluated that feeding bees with a mixture of sugar syrup and 50% inverted corn syrup with lemon balm/mint infusion and a biostimulator in doses of 1.30-3.70 ml/L, one liter every 7 days during the spring period ensures an increase in queens' prolificacy and brood growth by 12-46% and honey production by 6-69%.
