dc.description.abstract This review article addresses the pressing issue of feed contamination with mycotoxins, which harm both animals and livestock products. The article provides characteristics of the most common and dangerous mycotoxins, a brief description of their formation, their effects on the health of farm animals and the quality of livestock products, as well as the challenges associated with detecting mycotoxins. Mycotoxins in feed accumulate over time in animal tissues, leading to increased concentrations. The negative impact of mycotoxin-contaminated feed on humans underscores the severity of this issue for modern animal husbandry. The article proposes a strategy for minimizing mycotoxin contamination in feed. en_US
