The rapid convergence of nanotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced materials science is revolutionizing sensing technologies, giving rise to platforms with unprecedented precision, adaptability, and ...

In the presented work, the first research attempt was made to create an H2O2 gas sensor based on heat f lux sensors (HFS). We proceeded from the fact that H2O2 gas sensors already exist that operate on the principle of the ...

The percolation threshold and macroscopic properties of the randomly organized multi-facial media is a problem that was studied for a long time. In modern material science, the main focus is the percolation phenomena in ...

Metal oxide semiconductors, owing to their versatile electronic properties, are essential materials for a wide range of applications, including photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical cells, photodetectors, and power electronic ...

The local atomic structure of amorphous chalcogenides decisively governs their optical properties. In this contribution, we present a systematic composition–structure–property study of amorphous sulfide thin films prepared ...

Octacalcium phosphate materials (OCP) find widespread application as synthetic bone grafts owing to their relevant properties. OCP has been identified as a direct precursor of bone apatite crystals during the bone ...

The importance of the long-range, in particular the electro-static interactions, is basic knowledge in polar materials. Still many of the recent potential models, used in computer simulations of solids or liquids such as ...

Graphene/poly (vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) [GE/P(VDF-TrFE)] nanocomposites were prepared by mechanical melt mixing, and their dielectric and electrical properties were investigated as functions of graphene content ...

Tin oxide (SnO₂) thin films were deposited via spray pyrolysis with deposition times of 1–5 min and subjected to post-deposition thermal treatment at 400 °C for 1 h in either vacuum or air to investigate the influence of ...
