Abstract:
The main function of a commercial bank as a financial institution is to effectively manage the collected deposits. These deposits must provide both interest payments to depositors and profit for the bank itself. In this context, the bank’s deposit policy is formed and implemented, which includes a set of measures to attract and manage deposits. Deposits are the main source of resources for commercial banks, as they reflect the essence of the bank’s activities as an intermediary in attracting resources in the market for credit funds.
