Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for stimulating and regulating spermatogenesis in breeding boars during critical periods of the year. The method involves supplementing the daily diet with a complex microbial preparation containing biologically active extracts derived from yeast biomass recovered from wine and brewing by-products, as well as from Spirulina biomass, administered at 4–8 mL/boar/day for 50 days. The proposed method mitigates the adverse effects of seasonal factors on reproductive function, increasing sperm concentration from 48.8±9.9 to 61.0±11.2 million/mL and the number of semen doses from 18.3 ±6.1 to 26.3±6.8 per ejaculate. The invention promotes more efficient use of genetically valuable breeding boars, improves quantitative and qualitative semen parameters, and enhances the efficiency of reproductive biotechnologies in swine production
