Abstract

Project objective: development of a modern multifunctional karting complex meeting international requirements, with the creation of a safe, functional and architecturally expressive environment for competitions, training sessions, recreation and related public events. Main tasks: 1. To develop an integrated architectural and planning solution for the complex, considering the site characteristics. 2. To form a clear functional zoning of the territory: sports, spectator, technical, hotel, exhibition and public zones. 3. To provide comfortable conditions for racers, spectators and staff. 4. To develop landscape design, recreational spaces and noise protection measures. Methods used in the work: Urban planning analysis of the site, study of international and regional analogues, comparative analysis of examples, functional zoning, volumetric-spatial modeling, as well as development of architectural and structural solutions based on modern standards. Results obtained: The project proposes the first karting motorsport complex in the Republic of Moldova, designed as a multifunctional complex including a racing track, spectator grandstand, technical and administrative zones, hotel, expo-center and related public spaces. The functional organization of the territory provides clear connections between sports, public and technical components. The architectural solution emphasizes the modern and dynamic view of the complex, expressed through the volumetric-spatial composition, large, glazed surfaces, active facade plasticity and the use of modern materials. The complex is conceived not only as a sports facility, but also as a new architectural and urban landmark of local and tourist significance, capable to become a new point of attraction for the Republic of Moldova.
