| dc.description.abstract | Compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) are used more and more in domestic sector, replacing incandescent lamps. When considering replacement of incandescent lamps (IL) with the Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) is to be ensured that latest will provide satisfaction for users to avoid negative opinions of transition to inefficient technologies. One possible reason for the disappointment of users perception of the amount of light output of these lamps in the first minutes of operation. The first cause of this perception is a poor distribution of the lamp photometric lighting can affect areas of activity and environment lighting. Second, it is time to reach the nominal flow of the light intensity after connecting to the network. The purpose of these studies was to analyze the time required for different LFC to reach their rated illumination flow. While some were quick start lamps (one minute to reach 90% of nominal flow), others require a stabilization delay and extremely long, to reach their nominal flow. This delay is unpredictable and differences occur even for the same type (model and manufacturer) for different powers. | en_US |
