Ornamente tradiționale revalorificate în creațiile vestimentare contemporane

Abstract

Trends in contemporary fashion increasingly directed towards adopting and enhancing traditional ornaments. Traditional clothing of different peoples as well as jewelry, cosmetics, hairdressing, and its related accessories inspires and influences increasingly more creators today. Thus, together with the reasons creators promoted by fashion houses (meander, boteh, tartan, argyle, polka dots) are found elements of Romanian traditional costume. The essence of these universal reason, and how to exploit the traditional reasons is the purpose of our study.
