dc.description.abstract This article examines the design and increasing popularity of tiny houses. Its primary objective is to explore their advantages and disadvantages, assess the circumstances in which a tiny house constitutes a practical and efficient solution, analyze the potential challenges associated with such housing, and evaluate its impact on both the environment and human psychology. In order to address the research questions comprehensively, an extensive review of diverse sources was conducted, including academic books, peer-reviewed journals, and other relevant publications. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of multiple facets of tiny houses and concludes that, in general, they represent a practical and rational housing solution – particularly in the context of current economic challenges. Tiny houses have the potential to address a variety of problems and fulfill fundamental human needs for shelter. However, their effectiveness largely depends on the individual goals of the homeowner and the broader external circumstances. Overall, tiny houses offer effective solutions to a range of contemporary challenges, including environmental degradation, excessive consumerism, and the growing inaccessibility of housing for younger generations. Nevertheless, this form of housing may not be suitable for everyone –particularly individuals with plans for large families, those experiencing certain psychologicalconditions, or those requiring more personal space. en_US
