Abstract:
AI has transformed many industries, but it struggles with creativity-driven fields like interior design. While it can generate layouts and suggest colors, AI lacks emotional intelligence and personalization. It often misinterprets spatial context, ignoring factors like lighting and functionality. Additionally, AI fails to capture cultural and artistic nuances, producing generic rather than authentic designs. However, it can assist designers by streamlining planning, budgeting, and visualization. Despite its advantages, AI cannot replace human intuition, creativity, and emotional connection. Interior designers remain essential, with AI serving as a supportive tool rather than a substitute.
