dc.description.abstract In the Microelectronics Technology Fundamentals laboratories, we use various freshly prepared solutions. Students need to mix these solutions, but not all use suitable instruments. To address this, we developed a device that uses a stir bar immersed in the solution, which is rapidly spun by a magnetic field. By using magnetic mixing devices, we can set a constant stirring speed and allow the solution to mix evenly without continuous manual intervention. This not only saves time but also increases precision and consistency in the mixing process. The device ensures that the solution remains homogeneous throughout the experiment, which is especially important when working with plating or chemical reactions where even minor variations can affect the outcome. Proper mixing helps maintain the right chemical balance, temperature distribution, and improves the reliability of results. Additionally, using a hands-free mixing method allows students to focus on other tasks while the solution is being prepared, improving efficiency during lab sessions. Overall, the magnetic stirrer is a simple yet effective solution that improves workflow, enhances the quality of the plating process, and ensures better reproducibility of experiments. In this article, we present the development of this device along with its electrical schematic and explain the principle behind its operation. en_US
