dc.description.abstract Before you design a new home or remodel an existing one, consider investing in energy efficiency. You'll save energy and money, and your home will be more comfortable and durable. The planning process is also a good time to look into a renewable energy system that can provide electricity, water heating, or space heating and cooling. The aim of this study was to develop an energy consumption monitoring system with remote control. Nowadays, at home and at work, we use many electronic devices that are AC-powered. We need an easy way to monitor energy consumption and devices powered by wall outlets. In an existing house, the first step is to conduct a home energy assessment (sometimes referred to as an energy audit) to find out how the home uses energy and determine the best ways to reduce energy use and costs. For this purpose, we will develop a modular device for monitoring home consumption and controlling the outlet. This module is designed to be integrated into existing outlets to add monitoring and control functionality for any device in the house. For a better user experience, the main dashboard where detailed information about the status, energy consumption, and connectivity of each connected device will be displayed will be implemented in a user-friendly phone application, allowing users to easily monitor and control and monitor their devices remotely. en_US
