dc.description.abstract This article examines the evolving role of logistics in online commerce, highlighting its growing importance beyond traditional supply chain functions. As e-commerce continues to reshape the consumer behavior, logistics must adapt to meet the rising demands for speed, transparency and flexibility. The key focus areas include real-time tracking through GPS, RFID and IoT technologies, which provide continuous visibility and operational agility. Last-mile delivery, often the most complex and costly phase, is improved through route optimization tools and innovative solutions such as parcel lockers and drone delivery. Inventory optimization tools on advanced analytics, AI and machine learning to balance stock levels, reduce waste and align supply with fluctuating demand. Additionally, seamless return management contributes to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Through case studies, like Amazon, the article illustrates how companies leverage automation, big data, and strategic infrastructure to enhance logistics performance and support rapid delivery. The research concludes with recommendations for logistics providers to innovate the scale effectively and meet the evolving expectations in a competitive digital environment. en_US
