dc.description.abstract The internet and the digital technology have transformed learning, afecting study habits, information access, and collaborative learning. The digital media have made learning interactive, flexible, and personalized, enabling independent learning and facilitating research skills. Yet the new innovations also introduce the problems of digital divide, reliability, and distraction. Technology helps humans work together and promotes critical thinking by using digital tools and AI to filter content. Technology also, however, creates distractions that make it hard to think deeply and succeed in school. As educators are more and more becoming mentors than just handing out facts, it shows the importance of balancing traditional and digital learning methods. In order to reap the optimum benefits of technology in education, the students need to develop sound critical thinking skills and implement strategies to reduce distractions to facilitate efficient and equitable learning experiences. en_US
