dc.description.abstract The transition to a low-carbon energy system needs scalable, sustainable solutions. Hydrogen is a key clean energy carrier, producible from renewable and nonrenewable sources, making it important for decarbonization and energy security. This paper examines hydrogen’s role in EU and Moldovan strategies, recent advances in green hydrogen, and post-2020 pilot projects in Eastern Europe, identifying barriers and proposing regional integration measures. en_US
