| dc.description.abstract | The paper investigates the effectiveness of routing protocols in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) networks. To ensure robust data delivery in dynamic vehicular environments, the selection of a suitable routing protocol is critical. The aim of the work is to determine the conditions under which specific protocols demonstrate the highest performance. Reactive (AODV), proactive (DSDV) and geographic (GPSR) protocols were analyzed. The methodology includes simulation modeling using the OMNET++ and INET tools to create scenarios with different vehicle traffic conditions. The results show that AODV is effective in conditions of medium mobility, DSDV in stable networks with low mobility, and GPSR in conditions of high mobility and dynamic topology. In the evaluation process, particular attention was given to the protocols’ ability to maintain performance under topology changes, as well as their efficiency in utilizing network and computational resources. The results of the work can be useful for the development of adaptive routing systems in intelligent transportation systems. | en_US |
