Thus, management needs to have an appreciation for and a basic understanding of the risks and constraints of IT in order to provide effective direction and adequate controls.; Pentru majoritatea organizatiilor, informatia si tehnologia care sustine sistemul informational reprezinta unul din cele mai importante obiective. Sistemele informatice sunt indispensabile pentru organizatiile economice pentru transmiterea informatiilor in retele de tip client-server. Multe organizatii recunosc beneficiile pe care le aduce implementarea unui sistem informatic. Totusi organizatiile de succes inteleg si administreaza riscurile implementarii de noi tehnologii.
