The paper refers to the influence of tree pruning on vegetative growth, harvest and fruit quality of the Kordia cherry cultivar grafted onto the MaxMa 14 rootstock. Investigations at SRL "StarAgro Group" (Ustia village, Criuleni district) were organized in the central fruit-growing area of the Republic of Moldova, with the Kordia cultivar, grafted onto the Maxima 14 rootstock. The vegetative growth of the trees in the cherry variety under study is expressed, in quantitative terms, by the volume of vegetative growth accumulated annually through the height and width of the tree crown, through the size of the surface and volume of the crown, as well as the level of soil coverage by the vegetative ensemble of the trees. The cherry variety, Kordia, grafted on the MaxMa 14 rootstock, had yields from 18.10 kg/tree where pruning was performed during the dormant period, to 19.78 kg/tree in the variant where pruning was performed in early autumn.

The goal of this study, which was conducted between 2010 and 2022, was to evaluate the impact of the variety-rootstock association, the crown shape and the planting distance on the production and quality parameters of sweet cherries. Stationary experiments have been carried out using diverse sweet cherry varieties, such as Valerii Cikalov, Record, Ferrovia, Kordia, Regina, Stella, Skeena, Bigarreau Burlat, Lapins, grafted on Cerasus mahaleb, L. and Gisela-6 rootstocks, in various combinations, and which have been planted at diverse planting distances. The trees grafted on the Cerasus mahaleb, L., rootstock have shown rapid growth and an average fruit yield of 15.58-16.12 t/ha during the period of their full productivity. The harvest of the trees grafted on the Gisela 6 and MaxMa 14 rootstocks has been early and amounted to 12.50-14.58 t/ha. The varieties Bigarro Burlat, Ferrovia and Lapins, planted at a distance of 5 x 1.5 m, have given a yield of 17.98-20.07 t/ha, which is 12.2-24.9% higher than that of the trees which have been planted at a distance of 4 x 2.5 m.

PROCOPENCO, Valeria
The fertilization of the vineyards is an important and sometimes decisive technological process in the production technology of table grapes. Knowing the nutritional needs of the grapevine in different phenophases ensures obtaining homogeneous, quantitative and qualitative harvests, but also increases the plants' resistance to adverse environmental conditions. The aim consists in the analysis of the quality indices of the Moldova table grape variety, following the application of Ca treatments, in the phenophase of berry growth. In the research, different variants of application of treatments with Ca (Calcinite) were studied, with 1-4 treatments, in different periods. Observations, measurements and determinations were carried out in the field, as well as chemical laboratory analyzes according to the methods approved in viticulture. The growth of the berries on the vine begins a few days after flowering and lasts until the grapes enter the field. Following the study, a positive influence of calcium treatments on grain firmness was observed in the variants with the highest number of foliar applications. The use of individual or combined calcium fertilization of the Moldova variety in the production conditions with 1-4 post-fertilization treatments, depending on the conditions of the year, positively influenced the quality of the harvest.

<summary type="text">Determination of tetracycline residues in honey
BURLACU, Svetlana
Antibiotics from the tetracycline group are widely used for prevention and control of infectious diseases and have a great activity against variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Due to the widespread use of tetracyclins in animal husbandry, it can lead to an increase the risk of antibiotics remaining in human food. In this study, the degree of contamination of honey from the markets with antibiotics from the tetracycline group was examined. Antibiotics from the tetracycline group: Tetracyclin, Oxitetracyclin and Chlortetracyclin were examined by competitive enzyme immunoassay method for the quantitative analysis using the kits R-biopharm, Biopanda Reagen oxitetracyclin and chlortetracyclin. The principle of the method is to identify the unknown amount of antibiotic by present in the sample and the fixed amount of antibiotic antigens pre-coated on the wells of microtiter strips compete for the antiantibiotics antibodies, which in turn is detected with enzyme conjugate. After incubation the wells are washed and the bound enzyme is visualised by adding TMB solution. Any coloured product is measured at 450 nm after adding stop solution. The absorbance value of the developed colour is inversely proportional to the amount of the antibiotics in the sample. The quantity of antibiotics in the test sample can be interpolated from the standard curve constructed from the standards, and corrected for sample dilution.
