În această lucrare este prezentată evoluţia alocării subvenţiilor pentru sectorul agricol al Republicii Moldova şi impactul acestora asupra producţiei agricole şi profiturilor. În cadrul cercetării au fost utilizate date furnizate de către Biroul Naţional de Statistică al RM, Agenţia de Plăţi şi Intervenţii în Agricultură, precum şi propriile investigaţii ale activităţii întreprinderilor agricole din Republica Moldova. Rezultatele demonstrează că chiar dacă pe parcursul ultimilor ani s-a majorat volumul subvenţiilor, acesta este încă destul de mic. Cercetarea efectuată pe baza activităţii întreprinderilor agricole în perioada anilor 2007 - 2009 arată că numai 239 de întreprinderi au beneficiat de subvenţii mai mari de 650 lei/ha, obţinând un profit de 1522 lei/ha şi un nivel al rentabilităţii de 29,6%. În scopul majorării eficienţei subvenţiilor alocate întreprinderilor agricole se propune selectarea lor în baza rezultatelor economico - financiare obţinute prin metoda aprecierii

The article is focused on the investigation of the economic dimension of individual farms in the Republic of Moldova. First, it describes the difference between the economic dimension of farm size, expressed in money measure and physical dimension, expressed in hectares. Second, it describes the methodology of calculation of the economic size dimension, based on Standard Gross Margin (SGM). And last, it discovers the dependencies between the economic size dimension and other indicators, reflecting about the possibility of its implementation in Moldova as a useful tool of agricultural policy

The concept of food safety strategy has been prepared in accordance with Government Decision no. 1125 of 12/14/2010, establishing an action plan for implementing the recommendations of the European Commission for the Republic of Moldova in order to establish a Free Trade Zone between Moldova and the European Union and in agreement with the Economic Stabilization and Recovery Program of the Republic of Moldova for 2009-2011 approved by Government Decision no. 790 of 01.12.2009. The overall objective of food safety strategy is to achieve the highest degree of public health protection and consumer interests in the safety of food.
