<title>Strongilatozele gastrointestinale la tineretul ovin infestat spontan (modificări morfopatologice, tratament)</title>

<summary type="text">Strongilatozele gastrointestinale la tineretul ovin infestat spontan (modificări morfopatologice, tratament)

Studiul s-a axat pe modificările morfopatologice ale tractului gastrointestinal la ovine în cazul strongilatozelor. A fost determinat gradul de afectare a mucoasei gastrice și intestinale, prin examene macroscopice (necropsii) și microscopice (examen histologic) ale materialului patologic colectat. Concomitent au fost efectuate investigații helmintoscopice ale conținutului intestinal la tineretul ovin infestat spontan. Au fost testate remediile antiparazitare levamisol, pandex și aversect, urmărindu-se gradul de eficacitate a acestora în cazul tratamentului strongilatozelor gastrointestinale și acțiunea imunomodulatoare și regenerativă a lor asupra țesuturilor distruse de paraziți. Rezultatele obţinute demonstrează că infestarea masivă a ovinelor cu strongilide provoacă modificări grave la nivelul mucoasei tractului digestiv, cu formarea de noduli parazitari, și apariția unei reacții imune a organismului gazdă. Toate antihelminticele administrate au o eficacitate sporită asupra agenților parazitari, iar levamisolul în doză de l ml/l0kg m.c. are și efect imunomodulator bine pronunțat.; The research has been centered on anatomic-pathological modifications in the gastrointestinal tract of the sheep infested with Strongyloides. The degree of affection of the gastric and intestinal mucosa was determined using macroscopic (necropsies) and microscopic (histopathological) examinations of the collected pathological samples. At the same time helminthoscopic investigations of the intestinal content of the spontaneously infected young sheep were also performed. The antiparasitic drugs Levamisole, Pandex and Aversect were tested to determine the degree of their effectiveness in treating gastrointestinal strongyloidosis and their immunomodulatory and recuperative effect on the tissues affected by parasites. The results of the research show that the massive infestation of the sheep by Strongyloides causes serious modifications of mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, the formation of parasitic granulomas and the appearance of an immune reaction of the host organism. All the anthelmintics that were administered prove high efficacy against the parasitic agents. Levamisole administered at a dose of 1ml/10kg bw has also a high immunomodulatory effect .

<summary type="text">Имунный и биохимический статус цыплят-бройлеров в условиях применения препарата биоглобин при экспериментальном псевдомонозе

Представлены результаты изучения влияния препарата Биоглобин на резистентность и обмен веществ цыплят-бройлеров (Cobb 500) в условиях экспериментальной псевдомонозной инфекции (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Установлено, что исследуемый препарат Биоглобин при введении цыплятамбройлерам в дозе 1 мл/кг живого веса оказывает выраженное положительное влияние на процессы обмена веществ, в частности белкового, а также на состояние системы врожденного иммунитета птицы. У интактной птицы Биоглобин вызывает аналогичные изменения уровня таких медиаторов иммунного ответа, как ЦИК (циркулирующие иммунные комплексы) средней молекулярной массы и серомукоиды. Действие Биоглобина сопровождается перераспределением белковых фракций в сторону незначительного усиления синтеза альбумина и γ- глобулина, накоплением в сыворотке крови метаболитов фракций белкового обмена, а также повышением активности лизоцима. Исследуемый препарат также способствует снижению проявлений патогенетического воздействия P. aeruginosa на организм птицы.; The effect of the preparation Bioglobin on the resistance and metabolism of chicken broilers (Cobb 500) has been studied under the conditions of experimental pseudomonosis (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). It was found out that Bioglobin administrated at the dose of 1 ml/kg has a pronounced positive influence on metabolic processes, in particular protein metabolism, and on the state of the system of congenital immunity of birds. In the organism of intact birds, Bioglobin causes similar changes in the level of such mediators of the immune response as medium-molecular-weight CICs (circulating immune complexes) and seromucoids. The action of Bioglobin is accompanied by a redistribution of protein fractions towards a slight increase in the synthesis of albumin and γ-globulin, the accumulation of the protein metabolism fractions in the serum, and an increase of lysozyme activity. The investigated preparation also helps to reduce the manifestations of pathogenetic effects of P. aeruginosa on the bird organism.

Используя Анализ Главных Компонент (АГК), была исследована взаимосвязь между живой массой и возрастом 232 телок южной мясной породы. Для анализа были использованы показатели живой массы при рождении (М0), при отъеме (MW), в возрасте 12 (М12), 15 (М15), 18 (М18) и 24 (М24) месяца. Большая часть коэффициентов фенотипической корреляции среди животных были достоверными и имели позитивный знак. Первая Главная Компонента (РС1) описывает 52,6% суммарной изменчивости. Она характеризуется достоверными позитивными нагрузками для М12, М15, М18 и М24. Вторая Главная Компонента (РС2) описывает 21,3% обобщенной вариансы и представлена нагрузками для М0 и MW. Методы многомерного анализа могут быть использованы для оценки Главных Компонент, используемых в качестве экономических весов и более аккуратных индексов, играющих важную роль в селекции мясного скота.; The relationships between live weight and age of 232 heifers of Southern Meat cattle breed were studied using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Weights at birth (BW), weaning (WW) and at 12 (W12), 15 (W15), 18 (W18) and 24 (W24) months of age were studied. Most of the pairwise phenotypic correlations among the weights in beef cattle were positive and significant. The first principal component (PC1) explained 52.6% total variation. It was represented by significant positive loadings for W12, W15, W18 and W24. The second principal component (PC2) accounted for an additional 21.3% of the generalized variance and was represented by significant loadings for М0 and WW. Multivariate analysis can be used to estimate principal components for developing economic weights and accurate indices important in beef selection.

<summary type="text">Investigation on effects of hypertonic sodium bicarbonate with and without lactated ringer’s solution on potassium compensation, rehydration status, endocrinal response and acide-base balance in calves with metabolic acidosis

The study was carried out on a total of 40 calves. Twenty calves (n=20) which were treated with hypertonic sodium bicarbonate in physiological saline served as the Study Group. The remaining 20 calves, which were treated with sodium bicarbonate in physiological saline plus lactated Ringer’s solution, served as the Control Group. During the study, animals received fresh milk up to 10% of their body weight, but no antibiotics were used. All of the animals were tested for clinical findings such as temperature, pulsation and respiration rates, dehydration findings, hematological findings such as white blood cell, red blood cell, hemoglobin, packed cell volume, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular hemoglobin, biochemical findings such as aspartate aminotransferase, gamma glutamyl transferase, total protein, albumine, urea, creatinine, glucose, lactate and blood gas findings, such as total carbon dioxide, partial carbon dioxide and electrolytes such as potassium, sodium bicarbonate, chlorine and calcium along with base excess. All the measurements were taken before the study began and at the 1st, 3rd and 7th hours after the start of the study. The results of the study showed that metabolic acidosis in calves with diarrhea was treated more quickly with lactated Ringer’s solution than with physiological saline, although the hyperosmolality and hypernatremic states were corrected with both solutions. Consequently, lactated Ringer’s solution supplied a better clinical response than that of physiologic serum, and it is considered that practitioners should add it to fluid therapy for more rapid physiological correction of calves with metabolic acidosis.
